Q: Why bartending?
A:Came back and wanted a break from school for a little bit. Started serving at Billy Jacks first and moved over here, and it’s worked out nicely.
Q: How long have you been doing so?
A: A year.
Q: Why Harrisonburg?
A: Came back home and lived with my parents for a little bit, figured I might as well.
Q: Favorite part about being a bartender?
A: I really like talking to customers. You meet lots of really cool, eccentric people. I love weird people.
Q: Favorite beer?
A: That’s a really hard question. Grapefruit Sculpin by Ballast Point. Vanilla Porter by Breckenridge was the first craft beer where I said oh, I like this not cheap beer thing.

A: The Popper
Q: Tell us a memorable story from your time at Jack Brown’s.
A: We had a 21st birthday here a few weeks ago. One of our saints convinced her grandmother to take off her bra and let her granddaughter throw it up on the bike for her birthday.

A: Sleeping, eating or running.
